Yesterday, a mild Tuesday in August, Starbucks was playing “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” and the grocery store had Halloween candy on display. Before Labor Day!
I love Christmas and Halloween, but what happened to living in the now? I, too, want it to be fall so I can wear boots and cute jackets. But I also want to go float down a river, and drink lemonade and wear flip flops. I’m still clinging to summer for a few more precious weeks.
